i havent a clue what this is but i know it is 2 do with chemistry and the future of the planet if anyone can help

Ouch! That's a stinker of a question with a multitude of possible answers. But given that it's listed under homework and you mentioned chemistry, I guess it's less to do with ocean and air current global circulation and more concerned with college curicullum material. Is it relating to the carbon, nitrogen and oxygen cycles? If it is, the best I can do is to provide links. I hope these help.

Your question is not easily understood!

Equilibrium? Are you serious? Build up of green house gasses, the ever increasing size of the hole in the ozone layer, acid rain, desertification of many areas are not signs of equ'm. Not even moving toward it.

Future of the planet? I believe our planet is fast approaching its "use by" date. Unless God intervenes it will cease to exist as we know it!
