Ok why does that matter? I think that all the salt comes as a mineral byproduct of techtonical plate movement on the ocean floor, fissures in the earths crust constatly let out chlorine gas, and iodine and with the right conditions, u can easily get salt, i dont know really if all the salt was here on earth already, when it was made but i do know that it is being made. But seriously why does it matter? actually i can answer that too, the oceans were the spawning place for all the earths original creatures, salt was a key ingredent, if we came from amphibous creatures, then it could be implied that we aquired our sweating process from the ocean, that and salt is a requirement in almost all life on earth. Bam! i am smart! smart but lazy! still why the hell does it matter!

if u neet 2 know this u must understand evaporation.
ny way there r a lot of minrals on our earth's crust.
nd there u find NaCl witch is salt.
nd v all no that al the water on land comes 2 the c.
nd wen the water comes 2 the c it brings minral salts wit it.
so wen all minrals come 2 the c.there will b mo salts in the c
but wen the water evaporates it leaves all that stuff (minrals)
so the concentration of the minrals become greater
resultin in the water becomin mo salty

Deep in the deepest parts, there are never ending volcanic flows that leach minerals (salt) into the water.
