"Good G-d aaron g! You must have known I was a combat veteran. I am definitely paranoid about being watched. I think it sprang from events happening while on patrol in a war zone. It's kinda hard to explain if you weren't there, but, we could actually smell the enemy when he was around. They smelled like burning hemp and when it was smelly, we knew that we were being observed and probably counted, to determine if our strength was too much to attack. You talk about fear! Sometimes we were attacked, then, sometimes we weren't. The damned smell gave them away though. Of course, most of us smoked so there was little doubt that they could smell us too.
I never worry much what people near me say among themselves, but, sometimes I feel that something bad might happen.
I walk at a park nearby. Sometimes, I can smell something while I walk that "triggers" the feelings I'm being watched by some enemy. It's wierd I know, but, it's with me always. Sounds play a big part too ... especially helicopters. Soon as I hear one I almost freak out. They were our transportation in the war zones.
I guess you can chalk me up as one of the crazy ones"

I don't so much feel like i'm being watched I guess as I feel like people in the Chinese restaurtant greet you in English & then they start speaking Chinese & giggling right in front of you then ask you in English.."more tea?" he he he. They have to be talking about you & it's like they want you to know it too. CREEPY! But the food sure is good...i wonder if they are laughing b/c they just watched you eat rat on a stick but think it's chicken?!? Who knows? Things that make you go...hmm!
I do sometimes feel like something bad is going to happen w/o any known reason. It's my intuition & it happens to be very strong.I always trust it too b/c i've never been wrong when it hits me with an overwhelming feeling that won't go away...yes sir I pay attention!

Well, you are being watched most places you go! There are cameras everywhere these days! And yes, i do feel like ppl are talking about me when they whisper or laugh and glance at me! I hate that, and I always swear I hear my name in parts of their whispers(paranoia)! As for the fear something bad is gonna happen for no reason, that doesn't really worry me!

No - I don't. If you do then you should probably seek professional help unless you're doing something weird to make people talk about you. Still if they are it's rude and I'd find new friends.
Nor do I ever feel something bad is going to happen without any reason. Probably another reason to talk to a professional or get on meds.

No I don't, but interestingly enough my fiancee just had this conversation and he said that sometimes he swears he is in the Truman show. He tells me he will imagine little cameras all over the place and thinks he hears gibberish when he tries to eavesdrop on other peoples conversations. We decided that it is just because he is an only child and has a huge ego. he is a sweetheart though.

JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE PARANOID-DOESN'T MEAN THEY'RE NOT AFTER YOU.. All kidding aside , I think there is a reason for everything . Instinct can alert you to "something bad about to happen ". The key is to be aware . Consider-the people you may think are watching you -and talking about you- may also be wondering why you are watching them. When you undermine habits of strangers in terms of their opinions of yourself , you are focusing entirely too much on yourself .

Not so much bout other people talking about me when they whisper, but the feelings thing comes from intuition. Never pass it off as nothing, it is our higher selves trying to communicate.

only when i know someones watching me, or if its a really crowded place.
if the're talking in a language i dont understand i look at them like im listening and pretend i can hear what the're saying , so that they dont talk about me...or make up my own language
and mutter it to whoever im with then look at the other people and laugh...heh heh.

I have gotten the feeling that something bad was going to happen.
But I chalk that up to instinct or intuition.
Has helped me many times in my life.
