What do you mean by tail? There is no insect with a "tail," if you define it in the same way as you define an animal tail. Some insects have some sort of thing that might look like a tail, for instance, a female cricket has an ovipositor that helps in laying the eggs. It could be called a "tail" of sorts, but it is not. Many insects have an ovipositor, or some other sort of thing that might be mistaken as a tail. Try looking in a field guide at random insects. I don't really know what you are looking for, so yeah. Hope that helps a little bit.

A bit more info, the bug in the first answer is a type of mayfly, not a mosquito. Those aren't really tails either, but you could call them that.

And in reply to the second answer, sorry, but I don't think there is a bit of truth in it. Arachnids do not have any kind of tail, unless you count the spinnerets, which have the webbing in them, not venom or toxins (but not all arachnids even have spinnerets, as they are not all spiders). Any venom a spider has is in the fangs, and is injected when the spiders bite its prey, not from the web. The web is sticky because it has small droplets of "glue," not some supper sticky type of venom. And they do not have any kind of spiral or tail on their feet. Trust me, I study these things more than anything else, and have several as pets.

arachnids have a small tail of which is filled with toxins and venom wether they are poisinous or not. those toxins are often realeased in the spiders webs which helps to stun their prey . that is why webs are sticky so when you touch one make sure to wash your hands. if not those toxins may make you sick. arachnids also have leg tails which are a spiral at the bottom of their feet.
