you don't have to like her, no matter how good anyone says/thinks she is.

I understand exactly what you mean.
I used to be all into her because I thought she was so hot, but since the whole Aniston thing...
and I've never been a big Jen fan, and I would agree that their break-up falls on Brad, not Angelina, but does no one remember how Billy Bob Thornton was engaged to Laura Dern when he hooked up with Angelina Jolie? Laura was off filming a movie when Billy Bob and Angelina got married out of the clear blue and Billy Bob told Laura's assistant that she needed to come collect her stuff!
I know that makes HIM the pig, but you can't deny there is a history there. I don't know anyone who has ever broken up a marriage, much less 2!
And I still enjoy her movies but I've come to realize that she's an INTENSE actress but she's actually not that GOOD of an actress.
And before i get my head bitten off by rabid Angelina fans, I DO acknowledge all the wonderful work she has done in Third World countries. We should all do as much.

Oh, I thoroughly agree. such as you suggested, general human beings donate quite some funds and are not making almost as a lot as she does. And, thinking how a lot funds she does make, shall we even say (although I received't) that perhaps she must be donating more beneficial. also, adopting a toddler from yet another u . s . isn't being a humanitarian...if that's the case, Madonna is a humanitarian. besides to, there are diverse different celebrities who donate in basic terms as a lot as she does & probably do more beneficial, yet they don't receive almost as a lot publicity as she does. And, what we've self assurance - that's now to not discredit something she does because she has given plenty, yet she would not deserve THAT a lot credit, i imagine. And, I keep in concepts even as she and Brad Pitt traveled to New Orleans to "help" the corporation they made for the typhoon Katrina victims; and Brangelina ended up staying in a house worth 1000's of thousands of money. slightly hypocritical, do not you imagine? **EDIT:// I thoroughly trust nunya. there are such quite some toddlers in united statesa. that choose help too. the position are each and each of the celebrities even as they prefer help?

You should be like yourself. Develop YOUR character, don't try to steal it from some actress. She may be a humanitarian, but she is also very strange and stole Brad Pitt from his wife. You don't really want to be like that, do you? You have started well and seem to have your heart in the right place. Focus on you and what you can do, not what Angelina can or won't do.

when a person decides to help a country, it's their choosing what country they get to help. and remember, kinds in america are not as bad off as in other countries. and if u look at it, she's the only star that does so much for others. sure, other stars do it too, but she really does the most. she didn't even want biological kids because she feels that if she had one, there would be one less person that was not adopted. and although american families mostly adopt white cute litle kids, that resemble them, she goes all out and adopts from different races. she adopts kids that may even be unadoptable. (for instance, the black baby she has, she was really really sick when she adopted her), but that didn't stop her.
so, i guess those r some reasons u can like her more

Wasn't Angela's mother from another country? I'm also thinking Angelina and her brother lived with their mother outside the USA for a time. If that's true, she probably traveled internationally, etc... Whether she did live overseas or not, it may just be she can accomplish more without the hords of American camera's snapping in her face.

I don't know if she's fake in her efforts to help Africa, but if you don't like her, maybe you're picking up on something else. It's ok not to like everyone, and who says anyone has to like all famous people?
I don't know if she did anything for this country, but I do know Brad Pitt visited New Orleans not too long ago, and said he was appalled at the state they're still in. He's helped financially, too.

Its is always good when a country can stand together to help out when there is a crisis, like your country did with hurricane katrina. Like my country did with our flood victims.(I'm fom south africa.)
But what happens when a country is so poor that they can't help themselves? What do you do when a mother dies during childbirth because she is so weak from hunger? What happens to that baby?
Can u stand the cries of a hungry child? What about war ridden countries? How do explain to an orphan, that hasn't eaten in weeks, has no clothes or fresh water, that you can't help them because your country comes first?
That is one thing i could never do.....cud u?
I for one commend miss jolie for her work in those countries. She is using her fame and resources to highlight the plight of those people....there is nothing wrong with feeding a hungry child!

One must either like a person or not. I personally don't care for her anymore. She is a home wrecker and a very unstable woman. I wish her the best in life but nothing seems to really make her happy other then attention! Too bad Brad learned the hard way!!!

what bothers me is why are all these famous people help other countries? why cant they help right here in America. There plenty of things that need our attention. Child Abuse, Hungry, Education, Poverty, The Homeless, etc. and the people that they do help don't even watch there films or work, but we do here in America and if we stop watching them then where do you think they will be. umm poor .. do you think the people that they have help will help them in turn? so no i have no reason that you should like Angelina
