Anyone are who they thought they would be? Anyone more than what they thought they would be?

Is your life more or less than you thought it would be as a youth.

Nver dreamed I'd get this far. I didn't do it alone. Had I known then ...I would have listened to myself more often.

When I was a child, I wanted to become "The Singing Nun". I even sang "Dominique" around the house all the time. After that, I was sure I would be an actress and singer.
Today, I am the mother of five kids, one is in heaven already, (the greatest tragedy of my life,) and one only lives with me in the summer, as she's a step-child and stays at her biological mother's house the rest of the year. I am about to gain another son as my oldest is getting married soon to a terrific guy.
I have a better life than I could have dreamed, my husband and kids give me so much joy every day. I have an extended family who loves me, fantastic in-laws, and true friends.
When I look at what the typical "star's life" is like, I see that my life is much more than I thought it would be.

everything that i expected as a youth didn't really happen, but then again, I set things up for myself at certain ages and some of the things happened later than earlier.

I told myself i was going to be a vetranarian, but once i got older and found out how much of my life would be in school rooms, i lost that dream. I always knew that i would have enough money to be content - that has been, for the most part, true.

When i got married (later in life then i once thought), i saw something in my husband that made me think we were going to go somewhere (in life) that i'd never thought possible. I knew that we wouldn't just settle down and live a normal life of everyday living. We are living that normal life, at the moment but are following our dreams to change things - stir it up a bit. You'll have to get back to me in a few years to see where we are!

well, me...I thought by this time I would have a job and a boyfriend who resembled Jeff Hardy in some way. lol. I thought that when I was 15. I'm 18 now and single for the moment and work as a Host at a resturaunt. haha
Plus, when I was younger I wanted to become a Vet, but now i'm becoming a nurse...so my expectation is a little smaller but I love it

A little of both. I never thought I would find the love of my life and I did so in that sense it is more than I ever imagined. But in my career I pictured myself in a little better one. I wanted to be a graphic artist and design commercials, ads and stuff but now here I am an office manager at a moving company and I HATE it♥

Abut the same, except not being able to work on an assemby line in a factory.
I know this may seem hard to beleive, but I always wanted to be an average man working in a factory making cars or anything on an assembly line, and I was for 35 yrs, but a car wreck kinda stopped me at factory work,.

Much more than I thought it would be. I am a very driven person. I had an average childhood and I want more for my child. I just wish that things were the way they used to be. I wish people were more equal and that children were thankful for what they had and took more time to enjoy them. I enjoy everyday as if it were my last , and I am going back to school at 36.

well no.......I never thought I would be a mother of 5 boys and never figured I'd be a single mother of 4 boys..I am me and I do not expect to be anything but me....I will just take the days one day at a time and deal with what ever the best way I can and know how.
