As many as she can fit in her house and car. She should take up every closet away from everyone else, the garage, the utility room, under each bed and in the trunk of her car as well. It's so nice to have a variety to choose from, it keeps from your favorite shoes becoming worn down too fast and you look like a fashionista because people will rarely see you with the same pair of shoes on. You can never own too many black shoes also, you should tons of black shoes.

As many as she can store, I own 70 pairs of shoes and 16 pairs of boots, and yes I wear them all ( but not at the same time) lol.

I currently own approximately 80 pairs. But you can never beat the feeling of having a pair of shoes that perfectly matches or co-ordinates with a particular item of clothing. Fantastic!!!
So my answer is as many as you have room for!!!

This is a bad subject in our house at the moment, at the last count my 20 year old daughter had 33 pairs i made her line them in rows and take a picture lol, problem is the bags are catching up too last count was 31.
And what do i keep getting told, you dont match your bags with your shoes nowadays.............

If i had it my way i would own a pair for every day of the year !!!
Just enough to keep her husband yapping at her that she spends too much... but less then having a huge credit card bill.
