no it's not weird, everyones hair grows at different rates, it's better then having patches of hair on your back like crab grass! Some people even have more/faster hairgrowth on one side of their body then the other. Don't worry about it, eventually it'll probably grow, and even if it doesn't, not all women like their men looking like tarzan.

It is normal, U will eventually get it everywhere else.
Some men shave their chest to get it quicker if u are young.
