i loaded dsl and it pulled in a yahoo free mail account i didn't want to keep, spoke to 2 at&t techs, unable to help, said there was a way to suspend that yahoo free email account and then it would just go away after suspension 30-60 days. unfortunately i needed to call back, id did that, still no answer, told to submit to yahoo, still no answer from them, any help would be great, i did receive 1 answer back but the process didn't work. thank you

the technicians are right; suspension period is 30-60 days, so if you really dislike the yahoo mail account that much, then dont use it. =)

Just forget about it! You don't need to do anything with it. Just don't use it any more. I've got dozens of abandoned e-mail accounts scattered all over the place.

It is very simple. Do not use it. They will deactivate it after some time.
