All of these threats existed 10 years ago, 20 years ago, 50 years ago, 100 years ago, and so on. Do you really believe that the threat of war is something new? That terrorism is something new? Pollution? Listen, terrorism and war are tools of fear that governments use to justify their oppression and warmongering. It happened in Nazi Germany and it's happening in the United States now. If you're scared, you're falling for it, and you're allowing them to win.

FACT: air quality is better now than it was in the early 1970's.
FACT: global warming will not raise sea levels until and unless it begins to melt the CONTINENTAL ICE SHELF (not iceburgs, which have already displaced water). If you're worried, don't live on the coast?
FACT: The earth has survived thousands of wars and two "world wars", so a third is inevitable, yet people will still survive. Nothing new here.
FACT: Terrorism and terrorists are merely labels given the enemy by better equipped governments. Do you really think that Israel running over villages with modern tanks is a "military operation", but the people attempting to defend those villages with rocks and homemade bombs are "terrorists"?

If you're scared now, you haven't seen anything yet. Centuries of people have believed that their generation would be the last, yet they weren't. Yours isn't, either.

Absolutely, The coastal cities at least. I'm scared too man. But there is always hope too you know ? I think global warming has happened before anyway.
