It depends on the individuals. Since most Singaporeans are Chinese, most of them look skinny. Chinese people are small built, therefore, flat body. And they think that they are pretty when they are skinny but actually they look ugly especially with their flat chest and not so nice features.
In Singapore, customers can choose to reduce the content of oil, sugar and salt in the food they order. And people want to save money, therefore, they just walk instead of spending money on transports. That is why they are walking sticks. So generally, most Chinese are skinny.

I noticed that too=P
Although on my last trip earlier this year however, I manage to spot a couple/ several "heavy" Singaporean women.
I found out that it's in the diet/ food served there. Customers have the option of requesting for lower salt/ oil/ sugar/ MSG intake to go with their food; extremely health conscious.
Another thing I noted were due to the efficiency of their transport systems, most men & women (S'porean) do much walking & briskly at that, lol!
After all, walking is a great calorie burner ;)

Are you blind??? You mean majority of Chinese girls are skinny. But the Chinese in general have a naturally slim build. The malays Singaporeans and Indian Singaporeans are more on the robust side because of their diet (coconut milk , ghee, etc. )
I've lived in Sg for 3 years and since majority of Sg's population are made of Chinese, I wouldn't blame you if you have that perception.

Almost all people in Singapore are skinny not just ladies. I think it's their food consumption. They eat healthy.
