The first thing to do is grow up and get married to a *real, live* husband instead of an imaginary one. Then everything will work out (although it is unlikely you will have the twins, triplets, or quints of your imagination!!).

For some it will happen fast for some maybe a few cycles. You need to find out how long your cycles are and try ovulation kits. Remember not everyone has a 28 day cycle as most website go by that. If you have a shorter or longer cycle your ovulation date may not fall on the 14th cycle day. Make sure you have intercourse everyday (if you can) for the 5 days leading up to ovulaltion and the day of ovulation.
Try babydust.com and good luck. Do not rush it and have fun with this time in your life. Appreciate the journey and the outcome! GOOD LUCK TO U!

Try the website fertilityfriend.com and/or
mymonthlycycles.com and they should help. Start eating right, take vitamins, and have sex when you ovulate. Every other day is the best. Don't be disappointed if it doesn't happen right away. It took me three months with this pregnancy but with some women it can be sooner or later. If you haven't gotten pregnant after a year you both ahould see a doctor...Good Luck

First, if you haven't already, go to the doctor and get a full physical including pap smear, and complete blood work. That way you'll know going forward you are healthy! Then, keep track of your periods so you can time intercourse to be as close to ovulation as possible. Signs of ovulation are a "pinching" like pain in your lower tummy on your right or left side, increased clear discharge similar to egg whites, and increased libido! Ovulation usually occurs 10-14 days after the first day of your last period. Sperm can live 3-5 days inside the fallopian tubes waiting for your egg. So have sex as much as possible during days 8-16, counting with the first day of your last period as day 1. So about the time you stop bleeding, start going for it! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The more times you make love the more chances you will have to conceive. Look for fun and creative ways to do that (in the shower, on the kitchen table, in your car, doggie style, with candles and soft music on, after a hot bath together, at his/your office, etc). Think about "how can we best make love" and let the pregnancy thing take care of itself!
Good luck and have a blast!!

You can get an ovulation kit that can tell you when you are ovulating. Also mark the first day of your period and then count 14 days ahead this will be your fertile period. Then have sex from day fourteen to day eighteen. You will increase your chances of getting pregnant.

HERE ARE SOME METHODS TO DETECT OVULATION:
Calendar (rhythm) method. For the calendar method, you estimate ovulation based on a record of your previous menstrual cycles. From the record, you predict which days of the month you are most fertile. Your fertile days start 5 days before ovulation. This method assumes that your cycle is regular and that you will ovulate on a certain day of the month. However, very few women actually have regular 28-day cycles, and even those who do can have irregular periods from time to time. Also, a woman does not always ovulate right in the middle of her cycle. The best estimate is that ovulation occurs between 9 and 17 days before the next period. Therefore, use of the calendar method alone is not recommended as a method of birth control.
Basal body temperature (BBT) method. Basal body temperature (BBT) is the lowest body temperature a healthy person achieves during a day. Because of the natural changes that occur in a woman's hormone levels during her menstrual cycle, her BBT falls 1 to 2 days before ovulation and rises 1 to 2 days after ovulation. By carefully measuring and charting your BBT every morning before you get out of bed, you may be able to estimate the time of ovulation.
Cervical mucus method (Billings method). The amount, texture, and appearance of mucus produced by your cervix changes during your menstrual cycle. By observing, feeling, and recording the nature of the mucus over several cycles, you may be able to predict when ovulation occurs.
Right after the menstrual period, cervical mucus is sparse, thick, cloudy, and slightly sticky.
Just before and during ovulation, the amount of mucus increases and it becomes elastic and stretchy, slippery, thin, and clear.
Hormone monitoring. Home ovulation kits are available without a prescription to help you identify the most fertile days during your menstrual cycle. These tests measure the presence of luteinizing hormones in your urine with a dipstick or test strip; then, on a small computerized monitor, they provide information about your fertility level. Although expensive, these monitors tend to predict ovulation better than the BBT or cervical mucus methods.
Combined (symptothermal) method. This approach combines several methods of monitoring your body's changes during your menstrual cycle, such as measuring your basal body temperature, observing the changes in your cervical mucus, hormone monitoring, and watching for signs of ovulation (such as breast tenderness, abdominal pain, and mood changes). Predicting the timing of your ovulation is most successful when using all fertility awareness methods combined with physical signs of ovulation.
Why It Is Done
Fertility awareness is done to help a woman determine when she is likely to ovulate. This information can help a woman:
Become pregnant. Pregnancy is most likely to occur when sexual intercourse occurs close to the time of ovulation.

I'm sorry, but mother nature has no time schedule. All you can do is try. You might make your time limit, you might not. Your best bet to find out when you're ovulating. Look online for instructions on how to do that.
