Females r more likely than males 2 get lice. African Americans r less likely 2 get it. Lice aren't really picky about about the hair it just needs 2 b easy access. Some believe Tea Tree Oil helps 2 repel them. U would use this method by putting drops in ur shampoo & conditioer 4 daily use. Do not use baby oil or other home remedies 4 this. U must purchase medication 4 it or u won't truly b rid of it. U must remove EVERY nit (egg) & bug. Wash everything infested person was in contact w/ in last 2 days in hot water. Vaccuum floor & furniture. Put anything not
washable that was possibly contaminated in sealled plastic bags for 2wks. Soak combs & brushes in alcohol or lysol for 1hr. Don't ever share clothes, combs, brushes, hair clips, hats, coats, uniforms, pillows, etc....

Hair with lice. First my question is, who has lice in the family? or friends perhaps? Who are you sleeping with? This person might also have lice....It has a lot to do with hygiene. Do take a bath daily and if possible twice a day with anti-lice shampoo that you can buy in the market. If you are just a kid (say 13 years old and younger) then go to a pediatrician if not, consult with a family physician or dermatologist and have them prescribe you a shampoo that you can use regularly. Avoid people with lice they can transmit it to you. Lice jumps too you know.....-yunesa@yahoo.com

Girl head lice like every kind of hair If you have lice you need to get medicine because It can spread and that's not good because it can jump on to other people but if you don't have lice stay away from people if they do or help them get rid of it okay that's the best anwer or advice I can give you

Probably dirty hair. Shampoo and condition your hair then mix 1/4 cup white vinegar with 1 8 oz glass of water use as a final rinse. I've heard this helps to repel lice

They love dirty hair...keep hair clean, use hair spray if possible.
If u do have head lice on a schoolbus and u get it....try babyoil in the hair and get rid of em fast...bugs cannot live in oil.

They like CLEAN hair, it makes it easier to move around. Washing your hair with shampoo everyday won't keep them away, though. Just don't touch anyting with your head that came into contact with someone elses.
