There are lots of good inexpensive places to stay on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. The Canadian side is where you want to be because it has all of the best attractions.

Use Expedia.com or Travelocity.com and search for hotels on or near Lundy Lane and/or Stanley Avenue. There are plenty and they will be 3 or 4 blocks walking distance from the falls and have parking for your car if you drive.
