Yep, it's a topic I've b*tched about too. You'll find there are repeat offenders who say these things to get some sort of thrill out of it although I can't figure out why. Maybe these people are looking to start a fight or they really do hold these beliefs and just don't have the guts to say them face-to-face. More than likely, it's the first option. I think it's a shame though. Thanks for bringing it up. Hopefully Yahoo realises the monster in their midst.
Peace out!

What you see here is from a very small bunch of small minded, actually stupid people who somehow learned to type to some extent..usually not very well. They spout their ridiculous bigotry and try to sound as if they are in the majority...they are not. They spout their silly bible verses, and usually have them so wrong it is comical. This site is degenerating quickly into a cess pool of immature, silly people who think they are shocking others...they are not, they only make themselves look really stupid... which is fitting, for I am quite sure they are just that.
And, it is summer, these children should be out working, but are left alone to "play on the computer." Sad situation. Good luck

Haters always scream the loudest, and do it again and again and again. LOL, trying to fool themselves that their not alone I guess. Ignore 'em or call them on their ignorance. They are not the majority. Besides, free speech includes accepting that ignorant idiots can spout off, too. I'm not willing to trade in my freedom to speak freely. Are you?
But, yeah, Yahoo could do a better job dealing with the sicko's advocating violence or bragging about abusing others.

Actually I think there needs to be more people that read/eliminate reported answers/questions at Yahoo. They aren't removed on the weekend, they aren't removed after 5ish in the evening....
But they have "other" problems too. I was notified I got the "best answer" twenty times for one answer on one question(but didn't recieve 200 points though)...
I think Yahoo's ideas are good but their follow-through stinks.

There are some ignorant bigots that spew that hatred in their postings. What if one person, though, could be affected positively by some of the more loving and accepting people on here? Wouldn't that be just fabulous?

Totally agree with you. not only so much hate, but so much rank ignorance. Some of these people must be in institutions for deeply disturbed individuals, and more worryingly, some of them will be free to walk the streets

it promotes social awareness.
it acknowledges our freedom to express our minds
it encourages the shy-type people to air out their voices
it makes us know stuff we see everyday and didn't know what its worth and its beginnings
it quinches our thirst for knowledge basically
informative despite some brutal use of languages every now & then which is to be expected..
it connects people.
world..wide..web another word for networking
I am here because you are here and vice versa.

i suspect it is to do with freedom of speech, but i know what you mean. freedom of speech is one thing, negative religionism/homophobia/racism from both blacks and whites, is another.
is it really so hard just to be nice?...or is nice out of fashion and not cool again?...
peace
