Then go to a fertility specialist. If you are wiling to pay, they will help you get pregnant even if there is no clear medical reason why you cant get pregnant. The doc will do daily sonograms to keep track of your ovulation, stimulate your ovaries with hormones, and even inseminate you with your husband's sperm (after picking only the healthieast strongest ones) so insure the highest probability of pregnancy. It can cost you from ($ 2,000-$4,000 /month depending where you live or even $ 10,000+ if you need insemination) but it will be worth it.

Maybe it is timing?
A woman ovulates APPROXIMATELY 14 days BEFORE her next period starts. It is called the luteal phase--DAY PASSED OVULATION. It is generally 12-16 days---14 days is average. And it HAS TO BE AT LEAST 10 to get pregnant. But, whatever it is, it is usually the same amount of days. The first part of a woman's cycle might have fluctuations---but the luteal phase is always the same amount of time. Read more: http://www.webwomb.com/luteal_phase_frame_page.htm

A lot of time, you hear people say you ovulate 14 days after your period. This is not true. To better explain...if a woman has a 28 day cycle---then YES--she ovulates on day 14. However, if a woman has a 24 day cycle, then she ovulates on day 10. With a 35 day cycle she would ovulate around day 21. Therefore, 14 days after a period---is not accurate and it could cause unwanted pregnancies to someone trying to avoid. Or cause a lot of fertility issues for someone who keeps missing the mark. If a woman has irregular cycles---(28 one month, 35 the next month, 45 another month) it is much harder to know the timing of ovulation--other than body temperature or increased vaginal secretions. You usually can tell you are ovulating because you will have increased vaginal secretions for 2-3 days. Otherwise, start charting your basal temperature.

Another thing you can do is start charting your cycles--and see how regular you are. I like this one: http://www.cyclespage.com/ Basic service is free. After a couple cycles, it will let you know how many days your cycles are, and APPROXIMATELY what days you are most fertile---in a window. It's an estimate--due to not knowing exactly how long your luteal phase is.

I don't know how long you have been trying or if the Dr you are seeing is a specialist. But, if you don't get pg after a few more months of trying--go to a different dr or specialist.

Sometimes stress and anxiety can keep you from getting pregnant. The stresses could be from work or finances or something besides the stress of trying to get pregnant. If you can go on a vacation for a week or two and just enjoy being with your husband. You are both still young and there is still a lot of time left for you to have a baby.

I was trying to get pregnant with my second child I worked for a real, big time jerk. He left for a three week vacation. Guess what the work pressure was gone and during that time I got pregnant. We had been trying for a year and when the stressor was gone--bam, I got pregnant.

Good luck. I know that telling you to relax does not help that much but that is the truth of the matter.

My friend had that problem. Maybe you should try a specialist. If he tells you there is nothing wrong, you may want to consider taking firtility drugs. My friend took the drugs and she got blessed with two babies at the same time. That is the only down fall, these drugs work but does not guarentee how many. She is the happiest woman in the world now. At first she was frantic, but now she is a natural.

I believe that when the time happens it will happen. Everything happens for a reason and maybe it is not your time yet. Just be patient and let things happen naturally. Have you considered adoption? There are hundreds of babies in need of good and loving homes, try looking into it.
Don't think about it so much and don't try so hard. When you least expect it then your miracle will happen.

Sometimes a reson for infertility is not found, and there is nothing you can do. Have you been having unprotected sex for 9 yrs without a pregnancy? If so you may want to look into IVF treatments.
