Why dose this new computer take so long to chamge from page to the next, my old one was faster then this new??????

might probably be because of the programs that are running in the background of your system .since they try to get launched when you start your comp every time it takes time to load
so if you are using a windows xp once the comp is swiched on and you are at your desktop screen click on the start button on the bottom left corner of your screen and hit run.a dialog window would open where in the space provided type in msconfig and hit enter in your keyboard.
a system utilities configuration tray would open where in you would select the option that reads selective startup and check the box which reads load startup items and hit enter now restart your comp and it would load sooner

you could have a virus or spyware which is slowing it down.
Make sure your virus definitions are up to date and get a good spyware app.
