It depends on how much it's overfull. If just a little, you don't need to worry. As others have said, it could come out the vent if it's allot overfull. It will NOT blow out any seals. Just because it's overfull doesn't mean it will raise pressure and blow out seals. What can happen is that the level is high enough that the internal drums/gears can churn the fluid causing it to develop air bubbles in the fluid. Air bubbles can affect the shift feel .
An automatic has a complex hydraulic system with various pressures. I'd recommend getting the extra fluid removed and you'll have peace of mind

The vehicle generally will shift normal. The problem would be with puking out the excess fluid through the dipstick tube or the vent tube (if equiped) on the transmission. Normally not a problem but some times the fluid that is expelled can land on the exhaust system and will cause smoking or sometimes a fire.

No damage but the excess will probably come out the dip stick tube and drip to the ground till it gets to the correct level

in severe circumstances the excess fluid may be discharged out the vent tube and onto the exhaust causing a dangerous fire

it might cause it to shift hard,,because the valve body in it will be flooded with fluid,,also you will blow out a few seals in it,,and its going to cost a lot of money to get it repaired if it does this, you need to recheck it,,and if its over,,you need to get it out of there,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s.
