i choose machanical i write alot better and they have great erasers!but you would have to change the lead once a week,ony if its out or realy close.they work better for me because i am not constantly sharpening a wooden pencil but just clicking the eraser(or the side buttob if thats the kibd you have) i personally hate having to use a wooden pencil.they always break and you have to sharpen them i just want to scream!

ok i know you have to buy refills,but you have to buy sharpeners too!and to me mechanicals are easier to write with

Mechanical is nice, but wooden has "Im using a pencil" feeling
im using mechanical at the moment but I would say wooden

mechanical. the history of the mechanical pencil dates back to the early 1980s, when ex hippies were writing peace in the middle of nowhere in the forest, and they were tired of having to take a crazy big 1980 pencil sharpener, so they made a clickie pencil, which then changed over time to become the modern day mechanical pencil that we still use today!

Mechanical. Although Wooden are more durable, and was cool to sharpen a pencil in school.

mechanical pencil, bc once the lead is broken you dont have to sharpen it, and plus wooden pencils have to be replace once they are used to the bottom, the mechanical you can always buy the refill leads! and plus the mechanical pencils have ahanging deal where you can hang it on you shirt or book etc.

Wooden. I think sharpened wood pencils look very sophisticated on a desk.

Wooden pencil. They are less expensive and you do not have to buy refills.

I like the mechanical pencils better... you can write smaller and neater and you don't have to keep sharpening them cause they don't get dull...
