Actually, I do know. You have a puzzle to put together.
Remember the first time you were introduced to Marsellus Wallace. The first shot of him was of the back of his head, complete with band-aid. Then, remember the combination of the lock on the briefcase was 666. Then, remember that whenever anyone opened the briefcase, it glowed, and they were in amazement at how beautiful it was; they were speechless. Now, bring in some Bible knowledge, and remember that when the devil takes your soul, he takes it from the back of your head.
Yep, you guessed it. What is the most beautiful thing about a person: his soul. Marsellus Wallace had sold his soul to the devil, and was trying to buy it back. The three kids in the beginning of the movie were the devil's helpers. And remember that when the kid at the end came out of the bathroom with a "hand cannon," Jules and Vincent were not harmed by the bullets. "God came down and stopped the bullets" because they were saving a soul. It was divine intervention. There you have it.

Tarantino is a great magpie...bless his soul...in the briefcase...there was...the look of the two protagonists..one was Sterling Hayden and his secretary...You will have to watch "Kiss Me Deadly" as a Micky Spillane character delves into the up-coming nuclear night.

Nothing that was ever shown - that was part of the mystery (in case they want to do "Pulp Fiction 2")

They got that idea from the 50's film "Kiss Me Deadly" (a very cool movie). That case had Radium in it and turned a woman into toast..
What ever is in that case gave off its own light, not reflected so it was not gold.

OMG, Bakbiter, that was the most awesome thing I've ever heard. You must really have been paying attention to that movie. I mean, I remembered the bandaid and all but I would have never have thought that. That's so awesome.

The first time I watched it I was upset because I thought I missed it. After the second time I realized it does not show it.

No one knows for sure, but it was probably a load of drugs or cash or Marcellus Wallace's soul. (In one scene, he had a little band-aid on his neck) People say his soul was taken out there...
