I am a Quixtar IBO, though I am not practicing. When it comes time to renew in December my wife and I will be doing no such thing. About a year ago some friends of ours signed us up for Quixtar. Things seemed ok for a while, we bought things on line and tried to sign up our friends. Then one day in December we get our credit card bill and we had maxed it out! We would buy $500 worth of Quixtar products to get a check for $10. We decided it was not for us. Our friends continued with Quixtar believing it was the only way to achieve their dreams. Unfortunatly it is turning into a nightmare for them and they are too blind to see it. One couple who signed up under our upline has just lost their house. They moved into an apartment that did not take pets and gave up their cat that they have had for 5 years. They can not pay their bills, there is very little food in their house except the overpriced Quixtar food. They have sold practically everything they own to buy CDs and Books. They will spend hundreds of dollars traveling to D.C. for a weekend rally, yet could not make their house payment. Their young daughters are becoming more and more disobedient because they are constantly away from home doing Quixtar home plans. Our uplines are in a similar situation. They are selling their house also and are losing everything else, having garage sales to make money for rallys, CDs and Books. We use to get together at least monthly, now I can't remember the last time we did anything together. And our uplines only get about $150 a month. At the meetings they tell you in a year you will begin phase two. Our friends/uplines are no where near that. Another couple we know and use to spend time with also signed up with our upline (right after they told us they would sign up under us) and they are in a similar situation. My friend told me they needed to sell the house and cash in his retirement in order to get out of debt. Isn't that why you joined Quixtar? Quixtar has become their life and god. When my wife and another friend confronted them about it, they became extremely hostile and defensive. Our upline Emerald was suppose to have become Diamond this June. As of yet we have not heard that he has become Diamond. Another reason we got out is because I was telling people things I did not whole heartedly believe to get them to sign up. Also many of the products are of poor quality. The tuna was gross, the cats turned their noses up at the cat food, the cat litter was dusty and smelled bad and the paper towels were very thin. I had to use three to do the job of one. I was losing my integrity and my wife was becoming greedy. It was ruining our marriage. I would highly recommend looking at this web page:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4375477
Dateline did a program on Quixtar. Quixtar claims they confronted Dateline about this and Dateline apologized, yet no evidence of Datelines apology can be found anywhere. Quixtar has a less than 2% success rate and no money back guarentee.

Definitely NOT a good Business opportunity. Did it several years ago, didn't see a paycheck for 6 months, then it was less than $10. Found something recently and HOT if you are seriously looking for something. Started making money the first month and the product is perfect for today's climate:

What About A Business Dealing With The High Price Of Fuel?

All the Government and News reports can tell us are to keep our tires inflated to the proper pressure, change our filters and do regular maintenance on our vehicles. I was in Quixtar with my parents, brother and sister 2 years ago. Poor up-line and so much work and not seeing any commission for a long time. I think my brother got one check after 6 months. Everyone however is different so keep that in mind. There are some out there that would truly be able to work that business. Some, it's not for them. We found something that works for us,(my brother and sister too); you might like to view it and see if it's for you; so go to this simple presentation at hppt://www.bedavis1.mywayout.net Keep in mind no home based businesses are get rich quick businesses. You have to be willing to work at it, sacrifice just a little in order to get that financial freedom you desire. I've been in this business since June and got my first commission check in July (for the month of June). I was floored! It is one of the most fast growing businesses you'll ever find because of the technology and training and you never feel you're alone. There's always someone you can go to for help and questions. And your questions are always answered!
Good luck and hope this helps!

You already said it....if you are not convinced that this is really profitable for you, you can be assured it is not. When you are looking for a product to market, you must be impressed in such a way that you can easily see yourself sharing it with others and making a good income from it. I have been involved in Network Marketing for many years and have found you always have to follow marketing trends. Quixtar is a company that experienced hyper-growth many years ago, therefore all the large incomes have already been earned. I found that the product demand right now is health and anti-aging. The baby boomers are looking for just that and they are also the most open to alternate streams of income with the most disposable income.
I have found a company that is now poised for hyper-growth and the next 11 years are wide open for large incomes for those starting now. I started earning an income within a few days and am confident that this is the place to be right now.

Hi there! If you are willing to work and persevere, then I believe Quixtar is the best opportunity out there. Mexico4u belitted Quixtar at the same time as saying you want something on the trends - like health and anti-aging. Funny he should say that since Quixtar markets Nutrilite, the world's best selling nutritional brand (used by Asafa Powell, world 100m sprint record holder) and Artistry, which leads the field in anti-aging products!
Quixtar is a great opportunity, but like all success, it requires work and dedication. Give it a go - you generally get at least 3 months to try stuff out and if you change your mind you can get all your money back.

Quixstar was established by the sons of the founders of Amway. it is basically amway online, which means MLM. if that is your cup of tea, then go for it. Please dont get me wrong, they are both companies with history and quality products, I just dont like their tactics.I had a freind who tried Quixstar, but it did not work for him. If you like high pressure repeat sales, its for you. If you are truely interested in working for yourself, and have the ability and willingness to stick to something long term then check out my wife and I's website at cyf.ownanewbusiness.com. We joined this company 6 years ago, and have not looked back. They are NOT mlm, and go to great lengths to distance themselves from those types of companies.
Thanks, and good luck to you,
Neil M.

It is good for a person that is determined, enthusiastic and goal focused. Do you have this in You?

I would also suggest you many other network-marketing things you can do if you are willing. One of them is Xango.com

my brother did it in college and found that he averaged $2.00 per hour. You would be better off working anywhere else.
