don't care. except i do have this theory that the hottest guy in a band is usually the bass player: MCR, FOB etc.etc. etc. Best bass player??? Um. Mikey Way??

Les Claypool by far, 8 string fretless O_o

Cliff Burton (R.I.P) would be my #2, followed by Geddy Lee and Peter Steele

Depends if you like flash and technique or style and substance, I like Claypool for his rythmic beats, then again I like Pino Palladino for his simplicity (less notes mean more).

Robert Trujillo is energetic (Infectious Grooves), and Flea's lines are something else. I also like Patitucci (of Chick Corea's Acoustic Band) because he is so complex, Billy sheehan because he is so melodic and he uses his entire fret board really well.

don't get me started on Victor Wooten... in the end I guess it really depends on the type of music that you like and which bassist you feel best expresses it.

Just my personal opinion, m a bass player too. :)
