I had my period for the first 2-3 months of my pregnancy. It wasn't heavy like a normal period, but light. The only way I knew was that I was very tired. I am the kind of person who can stay up until 3 am and not be tired. When I was pregnant, I could not wait to get home from work so I could sleep.

You can bleed while pregnant, but it's not a period. A period is when the egg is not fertilized and then it along with the lining of the uterus is disposed of. If this happened while someone was pregnant, it would be a miscarriage.
I bled while pregnant but it was because I had placenta previa, which can be very serious. I knew I was pregnant right from the beginning because I had symptoms such as morning sickness, breast tenderness, etc..

not sure of the statistics but i do know this happened to a very close friend of mine the only reason she found out was her trusty physician thats probably the only fool proof way I don't trust the in store tests so much because you can get a false positive more often than not

You'll spend more for the doctor's appointment than you would have just buying the home test, and they're about the same in accuracy.

The urine pregnancy test you buy at the store is exactly the same as what your doctor will use, only if you buy it it's cheaper.
Take the test, it will ease your mind.
