where should an '03 Sunfire w/ 2.2 Ecotec idle,?its a touch over 600 rpm now?

look at the emissions lable under the hood if there is an idle speed listed or it will say idle speed nonadjustable or NA. Electronic controled idle even on my 400 hp GTO is about 600 rpms with air off in neutral steering straight ahead. Try this to see if the idle control is working turn steering to the end right or left and a little more steering pump switch tells the motor to speed up about 50rpm turn on the ac up about 200 rpm Lights and rear defogger up about 100 prm
