I know that there are different types of mulch(grade/texture etc) but on today's "mulch market" what is an expectation?

We've paid $20/cu.yd. here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland - it was considered a good price.

I pay $12 for single ground and $16 for double ground with a small scoop (1 yard) in rural NC. I used to pay $23 for a 3 yd. load, but prices went up with Katrina, if that makes any sense.

I had pine bark mulch-- floated off with a heavy rain-- now I use cypress or cedar shreds-- smells better, doesn't float off, and deters termites..
