They're hoping that most of the menstruating women of today won't remember how utterly horrible belts were... But I remember, and I won't use one on a bet. I don't care how lacy and frilly they are. They suck. I use a menstrual cup and it's the best thing I've ever used!!

the belts hold them in place securely because pads tend to bunch up and shift out of place which can lead to embarressing leaks.

Maybe to avoid the wear and tear of adhesive damage
done to the pretty and sometimes pretty expensive finer panties.
