Believe me, money is NOT everything. I work the night shift in a law firm where the starting salary is about $140, 000. But these people are here night and day. Most come in seven days a week. Yeah, all that money might be nice, but I'd rather make less money and get to be home to have dinner with my family than make six figures and eat Chinese food all alone in my office.

Aviation, Fashion, Entertainment, Legal - all can be high paying.

But why is money your only concern? Would you rather have a job you absolutely hate but it pays $80k a year, or a job you love that pays $50k a year?

Do what you LIKE to do, and the money will come. The fact is, people who love their work usually excel in it. I have a friend who is a neat freak, so believe it or not, he started out of school as a janitor. He now owns a very large janitorial services company. One side aspect of the work they do (as an add-on service to office cleaning) is they provide "clean welcome mats" at the front off offices. - for a measly fee of about $3 a week.

How many welcome mats can you deploy in a day? 150? thats 2700 a week in sales, PER employee.

Another friend of mine loved to fly, but didn't want to be a "professional pilot = i.e. working for an airline"

So, he started off giving people little area tours in his cessna. His business has expanded to flying instruction, restoring and reselling old planes (He sold one to michael dorn - "worf" - from star trek the next generation) and he makes a TON of money, so much so, that he's building his own private airport.

Lawyers obviously. Marketers and business make a lot of money after several years of experience. In any field you will get paid well if you learn to excel in it.
