not to offend any goths but I mean I can't be around them, they freak me out. I've been bitten by goth chicks before. I don't know why they did it. Some of my friends are friends with goths and one of my friends sisters is goth and likes me (she's only 12) and she drags me into hot topic so her friends can oogle over how cute we are. I don't think this is healthy. Who else has had these things happen to them?

I admit that the death obsession and black lipstick bit puts me off, but I've met one or two who are great people, just rather odd and willing to make others aware of that. In some places, being a goth is about as normal as being a "prep", so I can't imagine that all are as frightening as others make them out to be.

Given your name, I would have had you pegged for a goth as well.

And generally, goth girls like gothy boys.

So what is there to be afraid of? So some girls thought they were vampires and played a bit too rough with you. Just be yourself and expect them to be themselves as well. It's all just clothing and make-up. Most goths (above the age of 18) are pretty "real", they just prefer their look as opposed to how mainstream culture deems we "should" look.

when i was young i wondered what bikers were all about. they seemed a bit scarry to me so i looked them up in bars that they hung out in. i found out they were people that liked to ride bikes and have fun like other people. they are more dangerous to themselves than thay were to me being you find more people that enjoy the adrenaline rush of a fast bike. they had to tell me to calm down or hold it down sometimes. they are no more than sky divers on wheels. but there is always a bad *** in all groups, you just have to watch out for them. i did wind up with a bike but did not hang out with bikers because i am mostly a loner. these goths are just people that are playing dress up to a time they think was cool. like some young kids find the hippie era was cool so they grow long hair and smoke some dope or whatever. if anyone ever bit me for no reason if i did not kick their *** then i would be sure to have a small baseball bat straped to my leg or up my coat sleeve so i could drop the bomb on them the next time they came near me with bad intent. if the girls bother you it is really best to tell someone about it. like the school or cops. no shame in seeking help as far as self-preservation is concerned. how could you fear clowns? they are just a group of kids playacting. when i was young i had very long hair. why? to get the chicks, to find out where the dope was. then much later we saw this guy with the foot high spiked mohawk and a nose ring. the crowd said that guy must be wild, i knew better so i made it a point to talk to him and was invited to a party that was a blast. he liked the chicks and the beer just like me. people are always just people except for the bad *** in the crowd. you just need to find out who is who. fear not the goth.

Goths don't scare me. I'd rather be on a train with a group of goths than a group of chavs. Now chavs are scary...

They do bother me a little. I can't imagine what little kids must think when there is a creepy goth person standing next to them in line at the store or something.

Scared, no, but then I don't know them as you do. I think they're weird when I see them in the mall. I can't understand why kids would do that to themselves and think they look good. Isn't the goal to make yourself look as GOOD as possible? Why do parents allow their kids to do that?
