I think the body and brain are designed in a way that whatever you exercise will likely become better at it's task. If you done lots of math, you will likely become more accurate and quicker at performing mathematical operations. It might not end there though. Exercising your brain performing one such task may very well improve your brain functions to perform other tasks. Suppose you were to lift weights everyday. More happens to you than just improving your ability to lift those weights. Your bones may become stronger, your vascular system and respitory system may improve. You will be able to be able to perform many other physical tasks better than before you started lifting weights, that is if you have done this for quite some time.

Instead of giving you more specific answers such as read, do math, do puzzles. I suggest that you just perform any tasks which require mental and or physical efforts. Any task that you perform more than what would be considered usual for you should contribute to improving yourself.

Just dream any such thing that you might enjoy. Try reading and jogging at the same time. I'm sure that'll put the squeeze down on anyone's gray area. Whatever it is that you want to improve, just put that area to work and it should improve given enough time and effort.

Best Ways To Increase Intelligence

there are different types of intelligence. Our definition about intelligence goes back on the learning process in a common school system... which is more damaging then teaching or anything else. Thousands , oh what, millions of children every year, are measured in the same way, though everyone of us has a unique thinking process and way to learn. A huge amount on information might be knowledge, but not intelligence. So reading a lot won't make you intelligent, it will just give you a lot of information which is probably not even needed. You can just train your brain, so your thinking process will be faster and more efficient. And this is done by daily exercise, life long. Yes some people have the better genes... also the nourishment while pregnancy and in the childhood playes a big role Being clever does not mean being intelligent, neither is intelligence equal to wisdom. Intelligence is like money, good servant, but a horrible master.

You can't do anything to increase you're IQ quotient. After the age of six or so it stays relatively constant unless you experience a traumatic brain injury. However, that doesn't mean you can't increase your knowledge. Read and keep on learning. My goal is to be a life-long learner. I also give IQ tests as part of my job.

I think each of us is born with some limit on our intelligence range, just as each of us has different potential in terms of physical prowess. But within those limitations, we can reach our highest intellectual potential by continually exercising and challenging our mind, just as we would reach our physical potential by challenging and exercising our body. From an intellectual viewpoint, that means studying things that are difficult or challenging for us. It can mean doing puzzles and such, but you can't just fall in the habit of only doing one kind. You need to continually find new challenges. The other thing that helps is to have curiosity that drives you to learn about things. If something intrigues you, use that as a starting point for research and study. Don't just take someone else's word for something. If you hear about something on TV that interests you, look for other sources of information on the Internet, in newspapers, magazines, books. Also, you need active social relationships with people that challenge you mentally and force you to look at new ideas and viewpoints. These relationships can include younger people with you in the position of teacher. Any teacher can tell you that students challenge your comfort zones and bring fresh perspectives. One more thing: having children, especially for women. When you first have kids, you feel like you've lost about half your brain cells, after sleepless nights, screaming babies, dirty diapers, etc. But in the end, being a parent forces you to multitask and develop strategies for that allow you to operate more efficiently, just to get done all you have to get done, which forces your mind to grow in new ways. Anyway, these are some of the things that work for me.

two questions "above yours" in the list is the one--how to feel happy..take a look at my answer to that. a "high vibe " increases positive brain function..when you are calm and "centered" your i.q is higher because your calm mind works more effectively. and, very important, your overall energy will be stronger, which is key to enhanced function of all of you. as opposed to western thinking, we are not parts, we are a whole, and whatever effects one "part" effects the entirety. ;-)
