If they have been found guilty by a jury of their peers, then yes. Take them out back and put a bullet in their head and be done with it!

That would save taxes, but also kill many innocent people. Since 1973, over 120 people have been released from death row after new evidence showed they were innocent. Much of that has been the use of new DNA testing that was not available in the 70s.
Studies show we'd save more money by scrapping the death penalty, and putting everyone into life without parole. This saves on facilties, guards and the VERY expensive trial system required for death cases. Even if someone serves 50 years in general population, we would save money over trying to execute them. It's not worth the money. Just lock them up and throw away the key. Oh - and let them out if they turn out later to be innocent.

Sure that way you can insure that you kill a few innocent people sent up by an over zealous prosecutor. Good Idea. Let me guess you are pro life.

there are many people in jail who have been wrongly convicted for a variety of reasons. it' s important to remember that the legal system is far from perfect.

Yes they should but sadly, they are citizens with rights. As long as we have our justice system the way it is, it won't ever happen.
