A large oblong shaped rock that has an irregular orpit that passes between the orbit of Neptune and the sun. They are calling it a Dwarf planet but they considered Planetoid like meteroid as there are several Pluto sized objects out past Neptune and it was either call them all planets or change Pluto's classification, it was easier to change Pluto. They are saying a Planet should be round and at least 500 miles in diameter and Pluto is similar in size to our moon.

Astronomers are now calling Pluto a "dwarf planet", and their are other scientists who consider it just a very large asteroid in an asteroid belt existing beyond the planet Neptune.

They are considering Pluto/Charon a binary dwarf planet system. Confusing isn't it? What about the other 2 moons?

Pluto is now a "Dwarf Planet"
The dwarfs had a meeting and wanted a planet of their own
so they voted and took Pluto as it was the smallest ....
It is therefore, now called the "Dwarf Planet"...
I suppose that the giants will now want to take Jupiter and call
it a "Giant Planet"...
Who is going to take Uranus ???

It is considered as a :"Dwarf Planet" mainly because it has an elliptical orbit that runs into Neptune's and therefore it disqualifies it as a planet based on the new definition.

Thye are still debating wether Pluto is a planet or not. I'd say that it is, because it does circle around the sun and has, I believe 2 moons.

In time magazine it said it isn't a planet. But I didn't hear its a dwarf planet, think its a star
