I need to replace a wheel bearing in my car. it is hard to do? What does it consist of and do you know a website that shows how to do it?

not bad, they tend to rust in so can b hard to remove. also the axle nut is torqued to 250 ft lbs

Sorry to assume this is a front wheel bearing. Do you have access to a 30 ton hydraulic press? Do you want to get really dirty? If the complete steering knuckle has to be removed it is best left to the professional Auto Tech with a car lift and tools. If the wheel bearing comes as bearing hub and stud Assembly and bolts in. All youre going to need are a couple saftey stands, Torque wrench and 2 1/4 inch socket axle nut, and socket for the hub to knuckle bolts 1/2 inch to 5/8 inch or 13, 14 , 16mm and some penetrating oil follow directions in the wheel bearing box some times or service manual tightening torque on the bolts and axle nut are critical
