i love this movie about johny cash, and all his songs too.

Great movie. Hubby and I saw it in the theatre and own it on dvd. Have seen it 3-4 times and bought him the soundtrack too!

Never watched the movie, and not real intrested in the attempt to do a "cover" of Johnny Cash songs. He sang his songs best. Heck he sang other people's songs best sometimes. Just to clarify not saying a word against the movie, only that I haven't seen it yet. I did see the video and hear the attempt to "cover" the song Jackson and like I said I think they should have just used recordings of Johnny and June Carter instead of having Jaoquin Phenoix and Reese Witherspoon singing it. Just more true to use HIS voice with HIS music.

I always loved Johnny Cash's music and I enjoyed the movie. As a kid, I used to watch his TV variety show in the 70's. My favorite Johnny Cash song is "Sunday Morning Coming Down."

I absolutely loved this movie! I watched it over and over just so I could sing along with him. I think Joaquin Phoenix's performance was wonderful and so much like the real Johnny Cash. I'm still upset that he didn't win an Oscar for that part. I love "The Ring of Fire".

I loved it. I also loved seeing the young Elvis. As they walked into the studio. And when He was drunk and on the stage and june carter started throwing thos bottles at him and the rest of the people on stage.

I didn't really like it. went with a bunch of people and none liked it. Besides I don't think cheating on your spouses is a good thing no matter how it worked out in the end.

i realy enjoyed it i think reese witherspoonis very versatile and joaquin well i could watch him in anything and well done to them both for the fab singing

I was surprised how good it sounded. I didn't know that she had written "Ring of Fire" or the inspiration behind it.
