If the water has been tested and is safe to drink, you can filter it by using a Brita filter or you can just take the regular water, put it in a pitcher, and let it sit for about 24 hours. The sulfur smell will probably go away. Keeping a pitcher of water in the fridge, and not drinking or cooking with fresh tap water may be your only option if you can't filter it.

You have "hard" water. There are sections of the country where there is sulphur water. It smells awful to me, but I have know people who actually like it and will go out of their way to get some to drink --ugh! You might try putting a filter on the water that comes into your house.

while the high iron is a pain, does leave stains, it is actully not a bad thing, health wise, the sulfur smell can be dealt with using a filter system that actually uses salt, the salt is available at wal-mart, home depot....ect.
The filter system would be a professional instalation type

Like the other person said...A purification system of some sort, even a Brita water filter on your tap.But sometimes the smell of sulfur can mean volcanic activity.I live in Mass,in the Berkshire Mnts.,my water smells like that sometimes too,it also smells like beaver piss since trapping them became illegal.
