I don't think that it has to do with just purely the physical act of sex.
[WE], as men fulfill our needs differently than women.
Men, (most) separate the physical aspects from the emotional. we "take" what we need and "disregard the other facets.
I believe that women ,(on the whole) need and want the emotional as well as the physical communion created when the partners connect on all levels.
NOW, I am a man,----I understand what I have written..., BUT !, that does not always mean that I CAN or DO apply this understanding to my relationship... : )

it has to be DNA.
If they don't get it enough they pout.
I think women have more responsibilities and expectations in a marriage and with the added stress women lose the sex drive.

You know the old saying :" women have sex so that they can be loved, have love, and find love. men portray their love and fall in-love so that they can get sex."

For a lot of woman it hurts too have sex,
But their are lady's out their that love's too have sex or making love, that of course that if they don't feel that they have too just too make you happy, then we hate sex, not any fun what so ever

There is just something deeply emotionally satisfying with sex that masturbation cannot compete with.
Also, seeing the look of ecstacy on my wife's face as we couple up is very arousing indeed
