I think something interactive is good. Try something with a sport theme maybe, bowling, pool, batting cages. problem with movies is you cant talk to each other during the movie.

I was actually discussing the same thing with my son yesterday. We had gone as a family to a local BBQ cook-off. $10 per person to get in, then you can purchase food from vendors or if you wait until after the judging, the contestants give away samples :-), and free music. A very inexpensive date, really. Check your local paper to see what kind of cool events are coming up. A BBQ is obviously not for vegans, but maybe your local art musuem or a gallery is having an opening or event. Ours has a monthly wine-tasting. Most important you want something that will give the two of you face-to-face time so that you can get to know each other. Going to the movies doesn't really give you that kind of opportunity, does it? Hope you guys have a good time.

What I have as memorable dates from that time were not "planned" but became memorable.
1) going to the Nutcracker ballet and running out of gas on the interstate on the way home.
2) an evening that just went on and on with breakfast after staying out all night.

Just go and intend on having a good time. Memories always come later.

Depends on what is in your area. Seeing a planetarium show, historic tour, skating rink, getting takeout and eating a park (like a picnic), progressive supper with another couple (each home different course), scavenger hunt or treasure hunt (leave clues or ribbons as markers), with a camera take pictures with a theme (ugliest car, prettiest house, birds, etc.)

i will inform you the best element I ever did on a date (we are married now). we actually met on aol ourselves. I took my g/f (now spouse) out to a patio eating place (she likes those exterior places) and we sat and talked, it become precise off of a river with a riverwalk, and we ended up strolling for an hour or so. ultimately we've been given lower back to my automobile, and my little plan worked like a charm. To right this moment, it looks like destiny as there become a 2 seat bench in front of my automobile interior the mall I parked in. I instructed her to take a seat on the bench and that i had something for her. We hadn't had wilderness on the eating place yet I had it deliberate out. formerly our date I filled a cooler with 2 products of French Silk pie, 2 cokes/a bottle of wine/2 waters/ and a pair of milks. She chosen the milk. lol I additionally had a dozen roses interior the trunk. She become floored. Now, something to submit to in innovations, this become no longer our first date, it become our third, so she become mushy with me. i might in all likelihood no longer advise this on the 1st date because of the fact it'd scare her somewhat (don't be conscious of her character). in case you do this, do no longer ignore the forks, and napkins, and submit to in innovations presentation is fundamental, don't be frightened. solid good fortune!

I always find pool games to be a fun way to get out and match wits and skill. A nice pool hall will allow conversation, activity and potential closeness.

Dinner, movie, when did you have any time to talk to one another? Window shopping is a great way to take a walk and talk with one another.
