$60 dollars sounds about right for "digital cable". Where I am from (Canton, Oh), our digital package is about $55. But we have a basic cable package too which is like half of that, but no digital box. In fact, I think there is a service with no box at all, you just hook up your cable ready TV's. Are you sure you have the "least expensive" package?

BTW - My bill is $117/mo., but that includes the Digital plus package, HBO, Showtime, HBO and Showtime on demand, digital DVR Box, and high speed internet. And yes, that seems like a racket!

In Pa I pay $130 a month, but that's for tv, phone and computer. It's a package deal with Direct TV and it sucks!! Everytime it just rains (not even lightening and thunder) it goes off and "searches for signal". I never had that problem with Comcast cable. Very, very frustrating.

the television will paintings in basic terms fantastic, yet you received't get the HD high quality images that they instruct you in the digital shops except you're observing an HD-channel or an HD-DVD; it will be a similar high quality image as an general television. The "digital" area of the cable does not confer with image high quality in any respect, yet fairly to the tactic of delivery (virtually, "digital" cable has a tendency to blink out below undemanding, in the different case apparently a similar). you ought to favor to contemplate a one-time purchase of an HD-DVD participant in case you want to adventure the actual HD image high quality once in a lengthy time period.
