There was recently a woman in India, I think, who discovered that she had a baby in her womb for something like 20 years. Obviously, the baby was dead, so I guess it comes down to how you define "pregnancy"

The longest recorded pregnancy with a live baby has been for 12 months. But its really not recommended.

Most pregnancies are a 40 weeks, and can go 2 weeks on either side of that 40 weeks and considered 'normal'.

Try looking up on Google or something to find it. :)

Now days doctors won't let a woman get too far past her due date so I don't think a pregnancy will get too far. As for a hundred years ago and before that, I haven't gotten a clue, but I don't think the babies would have been as big as they are now because nutrition wasn't as great and the availability of foods wasn't as good as it is today, etc etc.

it's nine months. It can dilate up to 2 weeks the most. when this happens, C section is recommended. Most docs attempt normal and make the female suffer for hours for no reason.

usually if a girl is over two weeks or so they may induce her labor. they make the girls have the baby cuz i dont think it is safe for baby too be carried over nine months. or they may do a c-section if the inducing doesnt work
