why is it when women are as interested in footy (nrl) as men it's like we invaded their territory? i enjoy having a beer and watching all 7 games over the weekend and my partner gets so cranky. it amazes me how they want u to be interested in what they like so they can watch it but they hate it when u say can u get me another beer i don't want to miss this next set of six.

I think its a potential blow to their fragile egos. What if you know more about football than they do? Dont think any male sports fan can deal with that.

You sound real cool, date, love a real man. A real man will give up any game at anytime for footy. That is why real men invented VHS recording systems. Real Women too, it all comes down to what is really inportent and real men and real women have found footy can get around the worst of problems let alone a stupid game.

Your his gf not his buddy, go to another room and watch the game. Tell him ur going to the bar to watch the game, he'll probably want to go too. it sounds like he is feeling crowded by u.

lol - funny and true. Though, the same is true for us. When we want to go out for lunch with our girlfriends, the last thing we want to hear from our man is "I don't have anything else to do, can I tag along with you?" That would really put a crimp in our "me" time also.
