Hi:

There there both the same weight but there is one expection and that is if the metal in question is gold because gold is measured on a different weight system than all other metals. And the metal will be heavy-er than the paper. And this is not a stupid question

Thank you for asking it.

Hope this help you.

They are the same.
Since weight is the measurement of effect of gravity on mass.
The both are the same.
However, because it takes a lot paper than metal to get 50kg, it would be more unbalanced.

In my knowledge, scientifically they are bothy equal.
but we should know that the :
Price for metal is more.
Effect of metal is more.
Heart of metal also more.
and so on
So by my mind I'll prefer to say that metal is more heavy.

they are the same!!
the only difference would be the volume of each - the paper takes up more space.
The mass and the weight of the two will be the same

They have the same mass and so, if they are at the same elevation (or distance from the nearest center of mass/gravity) they weigh exactly the same.
