No we are a nation divided -horizontaly and vertically stratified. We will have to find ways and means to strengthen our unity and solidarity and patriotism. In the absence of tolerance and pragmatism our country would have been lagging far behind. We will have to defeat the diabolical designs to break our country less by guns more by diplomacy and politics. We must all work to geather to make our country a developed nation and extrmely prosperous. Where unemployment and poverty would be a think of past and the coming generation wondering :How come we were poor. Love country means love and concern for its law and people.

The ancient Greeks believed in a balance of the male and female in society. The male being forcefulness and the female being tolerance.

Too much male made people puritan-ish.
Too much female made people full of "idiot compassion."

They believed a moderation of the 2 was the best way to go.

In this country we had people who reflect the entire spectrum between the two extremes above. And luckily, though we do have moments of idiot compassion, they are few and far between.

Tolerance is not destroying society currently, but does that not mean it COULD not if the pendulum continues to swing in that direction.
