Alot of questions on yahoo answers deal with religion and politics, in which are good subjects to talk about BUT i think we should consentrate on what we can do to make our world a better place. What are some things that we personally can do to improve the quality of life for other people?

Care about people you don't know, that means in the third world and in poverty stricken areas in your own country. Have compassion. Make sure educational systems are up to par in those places. Pay taxes without complaining and elect people who will use the revenue wisely. Be held accountable and don't make excuses. Get an education, and try not to let greed take over your decisions. Give obsession over celebrities, their relationships, clothes a rest and focus your efforts on something that really matters to you and the world. Do as you say, AND as you do. Celebrate differences as well as commonalities. Believe that there is a better way, and live it.

I am glad you are concerned and serious. I think first thing one must focus on before one begins to improve the world is to see what is going wrong. Then to connect with any campaign which you think is bringing about some good. This would also involve shaping your politics accordingly. Because if we dont stop those who are the originators of our troubles we might just end up doing cosmetic improvement. I think life will teach you what is right as you go by.

There are millions of things you can do to make the world a better place. Teach a child to read, volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, create a counseling hotline, etc. The best thing we can do to make the world a better place is to give a part of ourselves to the world. You don't have to be rich in the wallet, just rich in the heart. In my opinion, the giving of heart goes much further than the giving of money.

We are here to learn & teach. We are here to try to make this a better place to be. Be kind to others as you would want them to be kind to you. Try to learn unconditional love. Do whatever it takes to make your little corner of the world better for you & others. Love God, do good, shut up & go Home (Heaven or the Other side) If everyone would try to make their litlle corner of the world better, someday we might have all those corners full of good things & people.

Oppose all forms of Globalism. The very same banking entities, which have funded both sides of every war in the last 150 years, causing billions of deaths, now want to control the planet under the guise of "liberal causes" and "peace" (which means ORDER, not justice or freedom).

Get an education. Don't become addicted to drugs. Get married and have children. Those simple steps will make the world better.

It all has to start from himself, he has to do his part, his role, in keeping the nature safe, lessened the pollutions done to the environment, trying to share and alert the people about the vulnerable environment. IF each of them do their part, the world could be save, in no time.

From Given away money, food, services to doing research in different fields, being kind to people, even and I dare say it, killing yourself so you do not use global resource. Leave more for people later.
