well i have had them all actually and i was more happy with tmobile they have the most minutes and the best plans for the price , and if you have bad credit their deposits are very reasonable , cingular had a crappy network , couldnt hear well on it and when i wanted to switch from prepaid to normal , they wanted a 800$ deposit , verizon is what i have now , their prepaid is decent , it has unlimited nights and weekends that stay on even if my phone is out of minutes. but all over tmobile is the best .

For several years in a row Verizon Wireless won best cell phone reception in the Consumer Reports cellphone issue. When I go places with my freinds and family, my verizon phone gets less dropped calls and has more reception than the phones around me.
These phones include Sprint, Cingular, and Tmobile.
T-Mobile and Nextell have half the coverage of the top three. Virgin Mobile since it uses some of the Sprint towers has only half the reception that Sprint had. MetroPCS is joke; people in Sacramento call it ghetto PCS.
I have sold phones for all these companies except Tmobile and Metro. Verizon in my opionion has the best reception.

Cingular is AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!! At least here in Florida, all it does is drop calls and the connections are awful. I'd rather use two tin cans and a string...

Honestly, it really depends on where you live - they all have different coverage in different areas - where I live, Verizon seems to have the best coverage - but when I used to live in Chicago - t-Mobile was better - your best bet is to check with friends/family who live near you as to there experiences with their carrier. Good luck!
