YES! Because if not you are going against GOD! Think about it, God made Adam and Eve. Not Adam and Steve or Eve and Ellie. He made 2 of different sexes so they could reproduce the earth. That's why Sodom & Gomorrah Burned. If you are having feeling of the same sex, ask God to help you with it , to take that off you. He will. I will and others will pray for you. God Bless You.

No, why? Just because of the homo phobics around? If there weren't any gay people the homo phobics would find other targets to attack. All the people who say that "god is against gays"are homo phobics but blame it on somebody else. You will find a partner if you look in the right places ( just as straight people). It is possible to have a long happy life if you're gay just as it's possible you'll have a long miserable life. It all depends on what kind of person you are and how you handle your situation. Yeah, you'll encounter problems created by homo phobics but then again, the people who encounter the least problems in the society we live in are probably white, straight males in the ages 25-45 with good jobs, good incomes, beautiful houses and cars and loving spouses. We can't all be like that. Hell, most of us aren't.

Be who you want to be, because the people that really care don't matter, and the people that really matter don't care. However, realize that whether you're straight or guy, you'll still face the same relationship problems in life either way. Being straight is more socially acceptable, and for that reason alone it causes less problems, but not that many less to not follow your heart.

although it is now more widely accepted for people to be homosexuals, i believe that it would very difficult to live that lifestyle.
my reasons for saying that are just some of the things that we have recently seen in the news, legalizing gay marriages...if it isn't legal then you don't get the rights of a traditional marriage, hence making it more difficult to make things work.
i am not one to put my beliefs upon others, but if you think about that there is also that part of the lifestyle. alot of people live with guilt over their shoulders. also they are discriminated for the lifestyle that they choose.
over all, despite the changing world. i think it would much easier to live as a straight person.

Certainly it is easier to be straight in American society. Although there seems to be more acceptance for gay people, there are multitudes of problems they face, compared to straight people.
If being gay is innate, then there is no choice involved. Ultimately, it is better to be happy/comfortable with yourself, no matter what your sexual orientation.

It's better to be what feels right to you. Damn what other people say or think. It's your life to live, not theirs. If you're able to be bisexual or gay/lesbian, then enjoy the unique opportunities that the lifestyle provides you. If you think trying out strait might bring you the happiness you seek, then by all means. But god do not define your happiness by social standards. You'll only be cheating yourself.

It's easier to be straight, not necessarily better.

Pau--hating is against God.

Bren--which god?

I believe it is BETTER to be straight. You don't have some many questions to answer on WHO YOU ARE or WHY AM I LIKE THIS.

There are probably books on this question or similar questions like this to be found in your local library.

It Is better to accept yourself for what you are. So whichever side of the fence that is, that is where you will feel the most content.
