I'm sorry to say but both the PlayStation and the original x-box are way out-dated and are not even worth debating. But if you are not looking to spend to much money on a system then something like the game-cube is a ok to buy and the PS2 is also pretty cheap as well and has a lot of good quality games that you can play. The next generation systems that Sony and Nintendo are putting out will soon make the PS2 and game-cube 2nd rate systems, if you want cutting edge wait for the PS3, but if you just want a cheap OK system then PS2 or game-cube is OK for you but the PS1 and old x-box are way out-dated for sure.

My son has Xbox and he wishes he got playstation. There are alot more variety of games with playstation. Not alot of good ones with Xbox.

neither. they're both out of date, especially the playstation, which came out way back in 1995 or '96. I guess xbox if you're looking for something really cheap, but you won't be impressed or anything.
Save the money, buy a Wii this fall.

wait for a few more months and get the ps 3 but you better get the better 600 dollar version but if you want one right know i'd go for the ps2 you can buy the ps2 for like 100 bucks and get a bunch of good games for cheap

xbox has internal hard drive to save ur progress, but playstation u have to buy memory cards
