Hi there.
The points are, I suppose, an encouragement to stay on Yahoo answers,but they are pointless,so to speak.
You are not getting anything for them other than new found friends and lots of fun.
So I guess , the points are not pointless after all...smile

I don't think they really mean anything, it's just to help people out and make it more competitive, even though the points mean anything... for example it feels cool being on level 3, but it doesn't really mean anything, I have answered more questions then you, that's it....

the points mean nothing just something to get those of us addicted to it so we answer and answer just to be competitive..and show that we need a life..lol
