Sure. But those are American-sponsored terrorists, so it's okay, right? I mean, as long as the Israelis are only killing Arabs and Moslems, it's perfectly fine, right? It's not like they have souls or their lives matter, right?
See, Dubya has to make sure that the rest of the planet is SO angry at the U.S. that his private little war will continue long after he has left office. His whole political strategy is based on fostering fear in the American electorate, so he has to keep the terrorists on their toes, hopping mad and willing to die to keep the Republicans in power.
Of course it was a terrorist act. If that doesn't get some terrorist attacks on U.S. soil, Bush will have to tell an ally do something else stupid ... perhaps he'll have Blair piss on the Koran or get Israel to nuke Damascus or blow up another Iranian reactor. We'll have to wait and see. Should be good for a few laughs, though.

Terrorism, The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons. Seems to fit this situation.
They intentionally terrorized innocent Lebanese people, and destroyed their country. Not to mention the total disregard for civilian lives.

you know, I'm tired of this type of idiot one sided mentality. are you too stupid and blind to recognize that the lebanese also did something in this whole mess? who shot rockets into israel? who crossed international borders to kidnap soldiers? if you want to be a lemming just because your friends or some chick you like thinks that way... go jump off a bridge.
Had to add a comment.... to the other idiot who answered who said "most israeli dead are military"... do you know how accurate those rockets the lebanese shot are? they're not. the hundreds, thousands of rockets that landed in israel landed on houses, businesses, roads, shopping areas, etc. how is that "military" loser? maybe the air and food wasted on people like you can be better served giving to the poor people in lebanon and israel who lost their homes and livelihood in this war you are complaining about.

I think Hezbollah launching thousands of rockets in to Israel intending to kill civilians is a terrorist act. I think Israel taking military action against this is for their defense. This is war, Innocent people die. Hezbollah intentionally tries to kill civilians, Israel has not.

terrorism is an understatement. Israel is a so called modern state which is not really pressed against the wall. It has the whole defenseless neighbourhood under its thumb.

Yes I do. israel killed mainly civilians. but a good proportion of israelis dead are military personal.
