I guess it would depend on your job description. What do you do?

This depends on whether you really like your job or not. But if you want to impress the manager concerned, I would say that it is uniquely a circle of sparkling yellow with just a tad of blackness in the middle. You can then add that the sparkling yellow reflects the bright and happy attitude that you have for the job with the black centre as a reminder that it does have its downside .. however, you seldom go there as you spend most of your time in the yellow outer circle! Your manager is obviously into colour therapy, or at least he thinks he is, so give him something to think about! And if he wants you to elaborate on the 'downside' bit, simply point him towards the least liked part of your job without over emphasising it.

well, I'd look at it like this.. If u say green, then there's future, it could nurture to something bigger.. If you say Blue, then its routinic and probably tough.. If its white, then its calm and secure and you know you're gonna be there for a longer time.. If its red, then its dangerous and you are alert ALL the time.. and the list of colors continue and moods are different with each.. lol
My current job is dark red/rusty brown! But I see a green light somewhere, once I follow that in a few months. then I am blinging baayby!! haha In other words.. I am Quitting for sho'!

If I was to be asked this question I would say my job was like a rainbow. It takes on a different colour depending on what task I have to undertake. So to pacify an angry client, my job is green, as this is supposed to be a peaceful colour. If I have to chew out a member of staff, it's red. Supporting a client in distress I would choose purple and to give somebody hard facts that they don't like it would be blue. If it was good news then it would be bright yellow. And so on. It does depend if your job is varied enough of course.

I'm a TEFL teacher, I'd say blue for TEFL, coz I associate the colour with the sky and thus the enormous possibilities that teaching offers on a day-to-day basis.

I see my career as green, a stimulating and happy colour. But what ever colour your eyes see, there are layers of other colour beneath it, ie .... Green has also got blue and red in it, red is stimulating and blue is healing, therefore green is a positive colour which creates good well being, HAPPY colour.

God I hate questions like this - in interviews I've been asked 'what type of biscuit' would I be and 'what piece of tableware'. Amateur psychology is a curse!
The 'brown like poo' answer has to be the best!

I'm starting a new job in few days so, my old job is as above - brown like poo! I suppose my new job is white, like a clean slate - or freshly flushed toilet bowl!

I would tell him or her that I am colour blind and attach no importance to colours (or silly questions for that matter).
