i knew ever since that sleeping pills have their side-effects, but sometimes i feel the need to take one... like now

what is the best natural way to get enough sleep?

even with closed eyes my brain is still running, that's why i can't sleep...

1. Maintain regular sleeping hrs. Go to sleep at the same time every day. Make it a habit
2. Have an early and light dinner. At least 1 hr before u go to sleep.
3. Bed and pillow should be comfortable.
4. Do some light reading in bed before switching off the lights.

Set a rigid sleep schedule seven days a week
Set aside some "quiet time" before bed
Avoid stimulants after twilight
Say no to the nightcap
Question your medication
Eat a light snack before bedtime

For me taking Chamomile tea after dinner helps, but on occassion when I need to go to sleep for sure, I take one or two Benadryl. Benadryl has antihistamine which makes a person sleepy. The good thing about it is, it is it is not addictive, has no residual once you wake up. My aunt who is a doctor was the one who recommend it to me. I find it helpful when I need sleep the most.

The best natural way to get good sleep is to get plenty of fresh air and exercise during the day and also to eat a healthy diet.

Sleeping pills are chemicals that your body soon becomes use to. Pretty soon you need more and more of them for it to work and that isn't good for you.

1. just try to work atleast little bit.lol , so u can sleep nicely.
2. Just leave ur worries away if u have anything so. Then u can have good sleep.
3. Otherwise try to court anyone. so u can dream abt him and you will sleep automatically. (lol)

Note: Dont think abt the hurts in life, and dont be in a mood of revenge. lol ( just kidding, sorry)

i've tried eating some cherries 1-2 hours before sleep and everytime i do that i remember sleeping better than ever. also try to meditate before sleeping to calm your mind if you have lotsa things going through in your mind. i've also read that drinking warm milk helps too.
