Research with elderly people shows that puzzles and games can improve brain functioning. Things like crossword puzzles, sedoku, or card games definitely seem to help.

Reading has been proven to be the best brain exercise ( also the best for the eyes). I will often when sitting in front of the television, get a note pad and write columns of two or three numbers and add them up, then take the sum and subtract them to see if the sum comes out to zero. Also crossword puzzles are a good way to stimulate the mind.

read, do math, paint, draw, etc. exercising your brain isn't really that hard. find things that you need to figure out like brain puzzles. I think that it is way cool that you want to exercise your brain. It has been proven that people that do work there brain are less likely to get Alzheimer's. don't believe me... Look it up, do some of that reading. Learning something everyday will help those Neron's in your brain to fire off more quickly. Have fun with those exercises.

Trivia questions, reading, checkers, chess, scrabble, pretty much anything that uses the brain is exercising in some way or form. Also just hanging out with your friends and debating over current events helps sharpen the mind.

Tie a rope around your neck, it restricts the blood to the brain which stimulates cell growth. Drink lots of beer first and stand on a stool, the altitude helps. Take a few aspirin as well as to not get a head rush from all the new brain cells.

Spend some time at Answers, trying to give creative answers or reading answers of some interest. Do all mat by hand before using adding machine or calculator. Read, and cut back on TV.

Then its like knowing how to read an entire other langauge! Litterally! Only the speech made by your reading is what your webpage looks like when you are done with it and it's ready to be viewed by the public!
